Modern invoice template

The Modern template puts the invoice title and meta details on a solid blue band, which gives the page a clear top and makes the document easy to spot in a pile of attachments. The table heads and the total row use a pale tint of the same blue.

Because it uses your device's own sans-serif font, text stays sharp on screens and phones, and the PDF is small. Print it in colour if you can; in black and white the band turns into a dark grey block, which still works.

Why choose Modern

• Looks at home next to a website or a slide deck in the same palette.
• The tinted total row draws the eye to the amount due first.
• Good for invoices that are mostly read on a screen and never printed.

How to use it

1. Open the template in the generator. The layout is already selected.
2. Add your business details, your client and the items. Set the currency, a discount and a tax rate if you need them.
3. Press Print or save as PDF, choose "Save as PDF" in the dialog, and send the file.
